Central theme of "Mutti zur Nacht" is the life-span extention of nuclear reactors as determined by the German Federal Government on 28.9.2010.

Several devotional objects aroung this theme will be on offer,amongst others:art prints,posters,postcards,jigsaw puzzles,cups,hats,pillowcases etc.

During this event,various different activities having to do with the issue at hand will also be happening;all visitors are invited to participate.

+ Regulation on the hanging of "Mutti zur Nacht":

   The painting,in its conceptuel design,appears as a tripartite altarpiece (with a large middle part

   and two smaller side parts of equal size).

   One of the most impressive altarpieces of Occidental Art is the "Isenheimer Altar" by Matthias

   Grünewald comprising three visible faces:

   - on working days,monks used to place the incurably sick before the "Crucifixion of Christ" so

     as to alleviate their suffering and their death

  - on Sundays and Bank Holidays,the various stages in the life of Jesus and the Holy Mother are

    on display ("Mary´s Annunciation","Birth of Christ" and "Resurrection of Christ")

  - only once a year namely,on Saint Antonius Day (13.6.) - to whom this altar has been

    dedicated - his "Temptation" is on display.

  I herewith decree the following regulations for the hanging ao "Mutti zur Nacht":

  - on working days,near residents of nuclear power plants and intermediate plants as well as

    anyone who has been damaged and/or fallen sick through nuclear radiation may have free

    access to the painting;they will be handed an invigorating mushroom soup (from the German

    Pilz = mushroom;according to the nuclear "mushroom cloud") and they may be given the

    opportunity to comment on and,publish for free on the Internet,their views on the current

    nuclear politics as decreed by the German Federal Government

  - on Sundays and on Christian Bank Holidays (since,after all,we are dealing here with "Mutti

    Merkel" i.e. the leader of CDU = Christian Democratic Union),the painting may be rotated at

    180 degrees so that the four-headed dinosaur may once more spew out the contaminated

    nuclear waste which it has had to imbibe during the year´s working days

  - only once a year,on 28.9. (this being the date when the life-span extension of German

    nuclear reactors was decided on by the German Cabinet: all frther steps towards a constitution

    of this bill - as these would involve a debate and subsequent vote in the Federal Parliament,

    by-passing the Federal Council of Germany,signature of the Federal president - were,as

    expected,ineffectual):

    "Mutti zur Nacht" may be on display,to the greatest possible extent,in the dark: through the

    pigments,several parts of it being illuminated by fluorescent i.e. UV-radiation,the painting

    will thus be "glowing";also,ideal for this purpose,would be a gadget positioned at the rearmost

    middle of the canvas which would turn "Mutti",in a clock-wise rotating motion and,thus,amplify

    the spiral-like rotation of the rediation of the mushroom cloud;combined to that,also useful

    would be a garishly flashing red and green lightning as well as a fitting supersonic sounding

    (e.g. an alarm siren).

  These regulations mentioned above are valid as from the "longest night" of the year 2010;its

  run of validity is oriented,according to the painting´s subject-matter,on the radioactive half-live

  of Uranium 238 and will thus end at exactly 19.00 (CET) on Tuesday 21.12.4447010 AD.

+ Action/Campaign:

  On Wednesday 28.9.2011,rotation of the painting in the dark:

  "Are you ready for radioaction? Here is the Angie Spin!"

  which may afterward be watched on YouTube.

+ Miscellaneous:

   On 29.12.2010,the RWE chief executive Jürgen Grossmann of the German Society for Nature

   Conservation (NABU) received the Rüffelpreis (Rebuke Price): "Dinosaur of the year 2010"

   on account of his "unrestrained and provocative lobbying" regarding the life-span extension of

   nuclear reactors.
